Celebrating Successful Outcomes
HealthSouth North Alabama has a culture of caring. We have 225 employees that are dedicated to providing our patients with excellent outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Our employees receive service recognition for their years of service starting at 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 plus years. We have a number of employees within our hospital celebrating their personal 25th anniversary as well as the 25th anniversary of the hospital.
HealthSouth North Alabama recognizes our employees and their commitment to patient satisfaction and excellent outcomes with our Employee of the Quarter and Employee of the Year Programs – the 2012 Employee of the Year was John Scroggins, LPN voted on by both his peers and members of the management team for his commitment to customer care and patient satisfaction. Congratulations to John and all our employees of the quarter in 2012.
HealthSouth North Alabama provides clinical recognition program for all clinical disciplines. For both our nursing and therapy employees, we provide clinical careers ladders that provide our clinical staff with the opportunity to demonstrate their clinical skills relating to the level of the career ladder they are pursuing. Once they have completed the course, they are provided with both hospital recognition, as well a monetary bonus for their achievement. In our nursing department, we currently have 28 Certified Registered Rehabilitation Nurses (CRRN®) who have been tested and certified and to provide a higher level of specialized care to our patients. These CRRN’s are recognized with a pinning ceremony in our hospital. In our therapy department, we provide specialized training courses and certifications.
